A beautifully painted five-piece nesting doll set initialled by the artist - each doll depicting a different young girl with an expressive, characterful face and roses in varying pink and red tones. The faces are painted with exceptional detail and warmth, each one distinct in expression and colouring - the mark of a skilled hand rather than a production piece.
A set where the faces do all the talking - the quality of the portrait work across all five pieces is well above the ordinary.
This is a five nested piece set. Initialed by the artist.
