A tiny hand-painted Russian lacquer box in the Zhostovo floral manner: a soft peach rose in full bloom beside a white daisy-like blossom and a half-open bud, tucked among sprays of blue forget-me-nots and deep green leaves, painted in gentle, blended brushstrokes against glossy black. A fine gold line border with scrolling flourishes in the corners frames the bouquet.
