This striking double-sided icon egg is the work of renowned Russian artist Sergei Ryabov. One side features Christ in white robes, delivering a sermon with Roman soldiers diminishing into the background. The reverse depicts Christ in a more traditional style, wearing red and blue robes. Both sides are framed by luminous gold or yellow backgrounds, creating a sense of reverence and continuity. A unique collector’s piece from one of Russia’s finest icon painters.
